Maryville College presented the 2016-17 USA South Men's Presidents' Cup

The 2016-17 season marked the 13th time the USA South Athletic Conference has presented a Men's Presidents' Cup signifying the league's top men's athletic program.

 

Thanks to regular season Conference championships in Football, Men's Soccer, and Men's Basketball while adding bonus points from Men's Cross Country and Men's Soccer at their respective championships, Maryville College claimed its first-ever Presidents' cup.

 

USA South Athletic Conference Commissioner Tom Hart proudly presented the 2017 USA South Men's Presidents' Cup to Maryville College President Dr. Tom Bogart and Maryville College Director of Athletics Kandis Schram before a Scots' soccer match on Sunday, October 1st.

 

"Maryville College aspires to excellence in every dimension," stated Maryville College President Dr. Tom Bogart. "Whether it is in the classroom, serving the community, or excelling on the athletic field our student-athletes are amazing people, and the staff and faculty that work with them are very dedicated. Their hard work and dedication have really paid off in bringing this Presidents' Cup to Maryville."

 

"Winning this Presidents' Cup has been an awesome experience," stated MC Athletic Director Kandis Schram. "This award exemplifies all the hard work that all of our student-athletes have dedicated their efforts upon. We are excited that this award is on campus and we hope it stays for a long time."
