Maryville College Head Softball Coach Leah Kelley has announced that Kadey Robinson has joined her staff for the 2017-18 season.
Kadey graduated top of her class from Elizabethton High School in 2010 where she established the school record for games won by a pitcher in a single season during her senior year. Robinson was a part of the 2012 National Championship softball squad fielded by Chattanooga State Community College. She helped the Tigers to a pair of conference and regional championships from 2010-2012. Kadey attained her Associates of Science degree in 2012 before transferring to East Tennessee State University. She focused on Sports Management and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from ETSU in 2014.
"We are excited to have Kadey Robinson join our Scots' softball family. She is a very experienced, young coach and I'm excited for our pitching staff to learn under her," stated Coach Kelley. "Coach Robinson was highly recommended from peers and will fit right in here at Maryville College."
Robinson comes to Maryville with more than six years of coaching and expertise in teaching and instructing pitching and developing hitters.
Coach Robinson will be assisting in the development of the pitching staff, game management, as well as future camps and clinics.
