Maryville College Women are 14th of 15 Teams at Callaway Gardens

The Maryville College Women's golf team is 14th of 15 teams after the first round of the Callaway Gardens Invitational in Pine Mountain, Georgia.  

The Scots Were led by freshman Alexis Meyer's with 93.  Sarah Grace Holland 95, Grace Gass 100 and Elaina Davis 101 contributed to the team's score of 389.  Heather Ellis's round of 103 did not count in the team score.

Whittenberg University holds the first round lead after a round of 306 which is two strokes better that the second place team, the host Berry College.

Sydney Weaver of Berry holds the individual lead after the first round with an even par round of 72 going into Tuesday's final round on the Lake View course at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
