Scots Finish 9th in Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational

ROME, Ga. – Jacob Dunlap shot a team-low 76 over 18 holes on Day 2 of the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational in Rome, Georgia. The junior improved his Day 1 score of 78 by two strokes. For Dunlap, this ties his second-lowest total of the season.
 
Maryville was unable to hold or improve on their fifth-place finish on Day 1, falling four spots after shooting 316 on the day. For the tournament, The Scots shot 620 and 43 over par to give them a ninth-place finish.
 
Josh Lunsford stayed consistent, shooting 76 and four over for the second day in a row. He finished the tournament tied for 23rd. After tying with Lunsford yesterday, Tristen Evans shot a 77 for 5 over par and finished tied for 27th. Jack Craig improved on his previous performance, shooting 87 and 15 over to round out the scoring for the Scots. After leading the team yesterday, Colton Novotny rounded out the lineup for Maryville, shooting 88 and 16 over par.
 
Jack Stafford had the best score of the day, shooting 67 and 5 under, but Prayaag Oruganti maintained his strong play and was able to hold on to the individual lead. As a team, Centre bested Emory (B) by one stroke, taking home the tournament victory after shooting 586 and 10 over par.
