Bailey Ensley is one the Scots Softball club's newest addition out of Knoxville, Tennessee's West High School. Ensley is coming into the Maryville College team as a utility player.
Bailey helped to lead her West Rebels as a senior team captain. In her freshman, sophomore, and senior seasons she earned All-District honors. Ensley was a four-year starter on the diamond for the Rebels.
Coach Leah Kelley congratulated not only Ensley's ability but her character when wanting to welcome her. "Bailey is the type of player you can stick anywhere on the field and she will play with heart. She is one of the most unselfish and self-motivated players I've ever seen. I expect Bailey to contribute to our program on and off the field."
Bailey is going to join the Scots after two very successful past seasons that left the Scots Softball club back to back USA South Tournament champions. Coach Kelley and the rest of Scots Nation look forward to seeing how Bailey will contribute in her upcoming collegiate career.
