Maryville College's Katelyn Witucki led the Scots during the opening round of the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate in Pine Mountain, Ga.
The Seymour native recorded a 10-over par afternoon, as the top Scot on the leaderboard.
Witucki started her day with a birdie on the first hole, before she tallied a par on each of the last two. She ranks tied for 45th on the challenging 5,837-yard Lake View Course at Callaway Gardens.
Maryville could only card four counting scores, as they finish the first round of the tournament in 14th place.
Methodist University leads the tournament with a six-over 298 after the first round, as they hold a four-shot lead on Rhodes College in second.
The Monarchs' Johnna Beehner ranks first on the day, as she carded a seven-under par 66. She had six birdies and an eagle, while only having one bogey on the par-four 17th.
Maryville looks to the second round of the tournament, which is slated for tomorrow, March 6, in Pine Mountain, Ga.
