MARYVILLE – Maryville Athletics just completed its best fall fundraising campaign yet.
The 20 for 24 Impact campaign, an annual event that benefits all 19 varsity programs and the general athletics fund, raised more than $150,000 from 547 donors. The Impact campaign began in 2020; the largest amount donated before this year was approximately $80,000.
"We are thrilled and grateful for the overwhelming show of support from our community during this campaign," Maryville Interim Athletics Director Andrew Wu said. "As we work to continue our positive momentum in Athletics and prepare for new opportunities, we are thankful for this statement reflecting how much our Scots family cares."
Men's basketball led the way with over $37,000 raised, but all 19 teams benefited from the generosity of Scots Nation.
