Health, Safety, and Sports Medicine at Maryville College

Our coaches, administrators, and athletic trainers do everything possible to prevent injuries and provide our student-athletes with a safe, successful athletic experience. Maryville College has one of the finest athletic programs in all of Division III. Our athletic training facility is one of the larger, better-equipped facilities in the region. Our staff includes five NATA certified athletic trainers and three team physicians. A state-of-the-art physical therapy center and hospital is directly across the street from the MC campus. This provides our athletes with the best medical care when they need it.

Student Athletic Training Aids

Maryville College features an outstanding student athletic training aid experience. Students who are interested in gaining valuable experience in sports medicine are encouraged to become involved with our team. Eligible students may qualify for student work-study through our office of financial aid. Many former student athletic training aids have gone on to successful careers in athletic training, physical therapy, and various other areas of health care.
