ATLANTA, Ga. – Kylie Wilhelmi was named Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week, while teammates, Katelyn Eldred and Ruby Walton earned Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.
Senior outside hitter Kylie Wilhelmi powered the Scots to a 3-1 showing at the Raleigh Volleyball Tournament with a dominant all-around performance. Wilhelmi recorded 70 kills while hitting .383 on the week, averaging 4.45 kills and 4.73 points per set. She also added 31 digs and three blocks. Through the early season, Wilhelmi leads the CCS in hitting percentage (.321), total kills (117), and points (125)
Sophomore libero Katelyn Eldred anchored Maryville's defense during tournament play, finishing the weekend with 54 digs at a rate of 3.38 per set. Eldred also contributed nine service aces and 12 assists, helping the Scots secure a 3-1 record
Freshman middle blocker Ruby Walton made her presence felt on both sides of the net, posting 30 kills, eight blocks, and 13 service aces during the Raleigh Volleyball Tournament. She averaged 1.88 kills and 3.03 points per set while adding a .238 hitting percentage. Walton currently ranks second in the CCS in hitting percentage (.311) and service aces (21).
