MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Maryville College Athletics has entered into a three-year partnership with FanWord, one of the leading AI technology and storytelling companies in college sports. Through this agreement, the Scots will implement FanWord Assist — FanWord's AI-powered content creation platform — to streamline and expand storytelling across all athletic programs.
FanWord Assist is designed specifically for athletic communications teams, simplifying and accelerating the production of written content such as game recaps, feature stories, and player bios. By pairing advanced AI with a suite of customizable editorial controls, the platform enables Maryville to produce more stories with greater speed, consistency, and authenticity — ensuring student-athlete achievements are showcased across multiple channels.

Maryville joins a fast-growing network of more than 190 athletic organizations across all levels that partner with FanWord, including nearby institutions like UT-Chattanooga, Montreat College, and King University.
