Coach Jameson Elmore ’21 serves as an assistant coach for both the Maryville College men’s and women’s soccer programs and as the men’s recruiting coordinator. He joined the full-time staff in April 2023 after previously spending one season as a volunteer assistant.
A former standout student-athlete at Maryville, Elmore supports both programs under head coach Pepe Fernandez and associate head coach Jon Baker, contributing to training, match preparation, and recruiting operations.
As a player, Elmore appeared in a program-record 89 career matches and was a key contributor during one of the most successful eras in program history. He started every match of the 2016 season, when the Scots posted an 18-3-0 record, won the USA South championship, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
During his career, he helped Maryville capture three conference regular-season titles, two conference tournament championships, and two NCAA Tournament appearances. In 2021, he was named a United Soccer Coaches Player of Distinction, an honor reserved for a select group of student-athletes across all NCAA divisions.
A Knoxville native, Elmore was a member of Bearden High School’s 2016 Tennessee Class AAA state championship team following a four-year varsity career.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Maryville College in 2021.
