Millicent Dunn Hagood

In the summer of 2006, Millicent Dunn Hagood became one of the youngest coaches to take over as head coach that the NCAA has ever seen. She, along with her older sister Deidra, gained command as co-head coaches for the Maryville College tennis squad. As a graduate of Carson-Newman and four-year tennis star for the Eagles, Millicent thrived under the spotlight of college athletics, which she then carried over to her coaching career. She has instilled success over the past 14 seasons at Maryville College which has included a pair of GSAC coach of the year awards and numerous all-conference performers during her tenure. In 14 seasons, the duo boasts the following records:
