Addie Jensen joined Maryville College as a softball assistant coach in July 2021.
Jensen came to the Scots from Weber State, where she was both a player and a coach. Her final season of collegiate competition saw Jensen earn All-Big Sky Conference First Team honors in 2019 behind a 10-3 pitching mark and 2.39 ERA.
She helped the Wildcats to a sweep of the Big Sky regular season and tournament championships, boosting them into the NCAA tournament field. Weber State’s 7-3 victory over Cal State Fullerton was the first NCAA softball win in program history.
Jensen then graduated in 2020 and served as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2021 campaign under head coach Mary Kay Amicone.
She played her junior season at Utah Valley in 2018. Jensen fashioned an 11-11 record on a team that finished 10 games below .500. She led the Wolverines with 23 starts, 137.1 innings pitched and 10 complete games to go with a 3.36 ERA.
Jensen sparkled during her two years at Salt Lake Community College, helping the Bruins to third-place and second-place national tournament finishes.
She earned 2017 NJCAA All-America status after posting a 27-4 record and 2.61 ERA, with 18 complete games. Jensen also was the Region 18 and Scenic West Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year.
Born in Utah, Jensen spent most of her childhood in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She returned to Utah at age 15 and played softball at Morgan High School. She helped her squad to a state tournament berth after earning All-Region Second Team honors.
