Box Score The Scots of Maryville College drop tough conference game on the road at N.C. Wesleyan.
N.C. Wesleyan Battling Bishops hand the Scots their first loss in conference play and end a six game winning streak. Sebastian Wiiala of N.C. Wesleyan scored the only goal of the game late in the first half on a header assisted by Thorfinnsson in the 43rd minute just before the half.
Despite the loss the Scots out shot the Battling Bishops 7-6 and recorded 3 shots on goal. Maryville College is now 6-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play on the season.
MC men's soccer team will host Covenant on Tuesday at 7:00pm
