Box Score Maryville College men's soccer ends in a tie in double over time against USA South Conference foe Covenant College.
The defense for Maryville College including great play from keep Ben Munger held Covenant College scoreless for the contest. Covenant out shot Maryville 19-17 in total shots, and 13 to 3 for shots on goal. Munger with the outstanding play at the keeper position recorded 13 saves for the evening.
Maryville had many opportunites to score and many nearly missed goals throughout the contest but were not able to capitalize. The Scots of Maryville College are now 6-3-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.
The Scots will play next at Huntingdon Saturday at 2:00pm.
