Maryville College's Thomas Palmer took advantage of a free kick at the 59th minute and buried a game-winner into the net to give the Scots a 1-0 victory over Sewanee on Tuesday evening.

MC's Caleb Lucas was brought down by a Tiger defender at the top of the box to set up the game winning opportunity. Palmer proceeded to blast the set piece into the bottom left of the net after bending it over a wall of Tiger defenders. The goal was Palmer's fourth of the season.
