MARYVILLE -Â The Scots defeated Wesleyan 5-0 in Saturday's Collegiate Conference of the South matchup.

Maryville has now scored a combined 18 goals in their last four games, dating back to their 10-0 rout of Agnes Scott on September 25.

The Scots are now 8-0 against the Wolves and have yet to allow a goal in any of their matchups, outscoring them 47-0 since October 1, 2016.

All five of Maryville's goals were scored by a different player, with the first coming off the right foot of
Sierra Lee in the fifth minute. For Lee, this marks her team-leading seventh goal of the season, putting her atop the CCS in that category.

Just three minutes later
Phoebe Deering would score her first goal of the season, making it 2-0 Maryville.

The Scots would strike again in the 20
th minute, with
Katie O'Brien finding the back of the net for her sixth goal of the year.
Avery Brown recorded an assist on the play.

A 34th minute penalty kick goal by
Grace McDonald extended the Scots lead once more, making it 4-0 at the end of the first half.

Maryville would find the net just once in the second half, extending their lead to 5-0 on a 46th-minute goal from
Madalyn McCall, the first of her collegiate career.

The Scots put up a season-high 49 shots including 25 on goal.

Maryville is now 7-3-3 on the season, and 3-0-1 in conference play. They play again on Tuesday, taking on CCS opponent Covenant at home. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
