Scots Keep Winning, Thrash Agnes Scott

Lee Scores Career-High Four Goals in 10-0 Rout

DECATUR, Ga. – Maryville took down Agnes Scott 10-0 in Sunday's Collegiate Conference of the South matchup.
 
Six different Scots found the net, led by a career-high four goals from Sierra Lee. The second-year forward also contributed to the Maryville effort with an assist.
 
Lee scored her first goal in just the third minute of the game and then wasted no time, finding the net again just two minutes later with a goal in the fifth minute.
 
In the 12th minute, Delaney Muldoon scored her first goal of the season on an assist from Lee. And then it was back to Lee for two more goals in the 17th and 18th minutes of the contest.
 
Megan Kimbirl tallied the final goal of the first half in the 34th minute.
 
In the second stanza, Chloe Chase scored her first of the season in the 62nd minute, followed by back-to-back goals from Anabelle Procter in the 71st and 75th minutes of the contest. Just five minutes later, Katie O'Brien found the net to cap off the scoring for Maryville.
 
Scots goalkeeper Sydney Mahr had a relatively relaxed day in goal, finishing with two saves as Maryville outshot Agnes Scott 39-2.
 
The Scots improved to 6-3-1 on the season and 2-0-0 in conference play. The Scots are now 11-0 against Agnes Scott since 2011 and have outscored the Scotties 68-3 in those matchups.
 
Maryville goes on the road again for its next game, traveling to Montgomery, Alabama, to take on Huntingdon (2-3-1) in its CCS opener. Start time Friday is 11:00 a.m. Central.
