Maryville scored in every inning but the fourth, and the Scots were able to shorten the game to six innings by plating five runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth.

Megan Ackerman was the beneficiary of her teammates' offensive outburst. She pitched the first 5 and 1/3 innings, scattering nine hits and allowing four earned runs to pick up her second win of the season.
