After Maryville's spring break performance in Hilton Head, Head Coach
Doug Corbett is confident his team is ready to compete in conference play.
"That match was tighter than the score would indicate," Said Corbett. "It was a great college tennis environment for our last match in Hilton Head. Although it was disappointing to not get the win, this prepared us very well for the conference season ahead!"
"We feel good about our doubles combos and got a lot of valuable experience in close matches. We will be ready to close the deal in future opportunities."
The Scots are now 4-5 on the season while Stevenson improved to 3-2.
Maryville returns home on Saturday to kick off CCS competition with a matchup against Belhaven, beginning at noon.
