LaGRANGE, Ga. – Maryville dropped two of three doubles matches to fall behind early, but fought back in singles play, taking five of six, winning the match 6-3.
Jackson Meyer and
James Smith took the lone duos match, winning their fifth straight match as a pair, 8-1.

Ben Wyrick nearly picked up a second point for MC on the No. 3 court, falling 8

Smith improved to 10-7 on the season, picking up his fifth consecutive victory at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-2.
Jonathan Crane picked up a convincing win at No. 2, downing his opponent 6-3, 6-2, winning his third match in a row.
Gabriel Villalonga Serra picked up a point at the No. 4 spot, defeating Jordan Girisgen 6-3, 6-3 while
Seth Green battled his opponent on the No. 5 court to a 6-1, 4-6, 3-2 three-set victory.
Kaleb Burke rounded out the scoring for MC in the No. 6 slot, winning his match by scores of 6-1 and 6-4. He improves to 9-7 on the season and has now won three straight matches.
Maryville is back in action Wednesday against Brevard in a match that was rained out March 6. Start time from the MC Tennis Courts is 3 p.m.
