It's unranked Maryville against three ranked but familiar Southern powers here at the NCAA Division III Softball Montgomery Regional. The Scots were selected as an at-large entry after posting a program record for wins and sweeping their way through the Collegiate Conference of the South Tournament. Maryville is 7-0 in its last seven postseason games played on the Huntingdon field. The Scots are the only team here this week that played all three of the other teams. Maryville went 0-2 against both Berry and Huntingdon, and 2-0 against Transylvania. The Scots were the road team in all six of those games.
