MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Maryville's Fall season continued on Friday, as the Scots competed in the Huntingdon Invitational in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Scots battled Division II Tuskegee and host Huntingdon, winning three matches, including two doubles matches.
Elizabeth Shwaiko and
Calliana Kondolios won the first doubles match, outscoring their opponent from Huntingdon 6-3.
Jasmine Muecke and
Lilly Patterson were the other victorious duo for MC, defeating their Huntingdon Opponents 6-0.
Maryville's lone singles win came from
Abby Diggs, who defeated Huntingdon's Athens DeVer 6-1, 7-6.
Maryville returns to action Friday and Saturday, hosting the Maryville College Invitational. Matches begin at noon on Friday and 8 a.m. on Saturday.
