Abner Earns TSWA Defensive Player of The Week Honors

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jacquese Abner has been named the Tennessee Sports Witers Association Defensive Player of the Week after a game-changing performance Saturday against Centre. 

Abner had two game altering plays, blocking a 29-yard field goal attempt to preserve the Scots' lead, and moments later sealing the game for Maryville with a 32-yard pick-six, the first of his career.
