ATLANTA, Ga. - Women's soccer dropped a tough road match Tuesday night, falling 5–0 to undefeated and top-ranked Emory in Atlanta. The Eagles jumped out to a 4–0 lead in the first half and added one more after the break. Kristen Burns and Trinity Atkinson combined for eight saves in goal for the Scots, who managed three total shots in the match.
With the loss, Maryville moves to 8–7 overall and 6–1 in CCS play. The Scots will close out the regular season this Saturday at Wesleyan before beginning postseason play. MC still sits atop the CCS Standings and is positioned to host throughout the conference tournament.
