MACON, Ga. - Women's soccer has earned a fourth consecutive CCS regular season championship, finishing the regular season 7-1 in conference play and 9-7 overall.
In Head Coach
Jon Baker's inaugural year as head gaffer, the Scots didn't skip a beat. The team had a slow start to begin the season, starting 1-5 in non-conference play against formidable opponents. Not baking down from the tall task in front of them, the team regrouped, got back some key players, and got to work, winning eight of their next 10 games to secure the top overall seed in the CCS Tournament, and a third consecutive conference title.
Post season play begins for the Scots on Nov. 5 in the semifinals, after earning a bye through the first round. Opponent is yet to be determined, but the Scots will host throughout their stay in the tournament.
Full stats for the game will be forthcoming.
