ATLANTA, Ga. – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its Men's Basketball Players of the Week.
Chase Morgan was named Player of the Week, while Parker Renault (Piedmont) earned Rookie of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
Maryville senior Chase Morgan delivered a dominant performance to open the season, leading the Scots to wins over Pfeiffer and Berry. Morgan was nearly unstoppable on offense, totaling 54 points (27.0 per game) while shooting 74.2 percent from the field and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line. He added 12 rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and three steals across the two contests, fueling Maryville's strong start to the year.
