It's men's basketball's home opener tonight as the Scots take on the Mountaineers of Berea College. Berea comes into the game at 1-1 on the season with a win over Asbury and a loss to Centre. The Mountaineers defeated Maryville last season 87-82.
A reminder to fans that home basketball games are now ticketed - you can purchase single game tickets for $10, or a season pass (good for both men's and women's games) for $100. Faculty, staff, and students get in free with valid college ID.
Tonight's game has been dubbed "Alcoa Night" with students and staff from Alcoa High School getting free admission, along with Alcoa's band performing alongside the MC Tartan Band. Halftime will also feature the GCIS Unicycle group - a fan favorite every year. Be early and be loud to cheer on the Scots!
