Scots Fall at Asbury

Maryville Closes Out Regular Season With 7-0 Loss.

WILMORE, Ky. - A day that the Scots will look to put out of their mind, as the Scots dropped all the singles sets, with Abby Diggs having the most competitive one, falling 6-4, 6-1 to Megan Moore.

A competitive doubles point saw the Scots dig for the point, and took one match, but couldn't quite get the second to secure a point. Diggs and Alyssa Smith were at the No. 2 spot, and fell 6-2 to Moore and Kourtney Kawata of Asbury. Calliana Kondolios and Elizabeth Shwaiko put up a valiant effort at the No. 1 position, but fell to Katherine Nova and Martina Pailett 6-4. The high note for Maryville on the day was Josie McRaw and Jasmine Muecke winning their doubles match 6-4 over Eliza Crawford and Mallory Watkins.

The Scots look to rebound tomorrow against Earlham as the two teams meet to play in Cincinnati before Maryville will compete in the CCS Tournament, beginning Thursday in Chattanooga.
