LAGRANGE, Ga. - Women's basketball dropped a 78–65 decision at LaGrange on Saturday afternoon in CCS action
The Scots stayed competitive throughout, trailing by 11 at the break before cutting the deficit to single digits in the second half. LaGrange pulled away late, using a strong fourth quarter to secure the win.
Emily Wilson led Maryville with 14 points, going 8-for-10 from the free-throw line. Kadence Stoner added 12 points and a team-high six rebounds, while Ella Haney and Emily Allen each finished with 10 points to provide balanced scoring for the Scots.
Maryville shot 43.4 percent from the field and scored 40 points in the paint, but LaGrange capitalized at the free-throw line and from beyond the arc to maintain its advantage.
