MARYVILLE, Tenn. -- Maryville College Athletics named sophomore track and field thrower, Abbey Cox, and senior basketball standout, Chase Morgan, Prisma Health Student-Athletes of the Month.
Sophomore Abbey Cox had an incredible weekend at the SAA Indoor Track and Field Indoor Championship, throwing 15.38m in the weighted throw, placing third overall, earning Maryville their highest placement so far in SAA competition.
Senior Chase Morgan dominated the court throughout the month of February, leading the Scots to a 5-0 conference stretch. For his talent, morgan earned multiple honors throughout the month, including CCS Player of the Year, All-CCS First Team, and D3hoops Forward of the Week.
