MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Maryville College secured multiple victories at the Scots Invitational, highlighted by
Megan Shinn's first-place finish in the Women's 10,000 Meters at 41:54.42 and strong performances in both the Women's Triple Jump and Shot Put events. Notably, Shinn also set a school record and personal record in the 1500 Meters.
Sprints
Harmonee King placed third in the Women's 100 Meters finals with a time of 12.86, setting a school record and personal record, and fourth in the Women's 200 Meters at 27.78, where she also set a new school record.
Alana Rodriguez secured second in the Women's 400 Meters with 1:04.28, achieving a season best.
Middle Distance
In the Women's 800 Meters,
Megan Shinn finished second with a time of 2:30.55, and Madison Adair followed closely in third at 2:30.89, both achieving personal records. The 4x800 relay team, consisting of Adair, Wilson, Johnson, and Goodwin, set a school record.
Distance
Shinn claimed first place in the Women's 10,000 Meters with a time of 41:54.42.
Catherine Money finished second in the Women's 5000 Meters, clocking in at 23:07.88. Money and Lathinghouse both set personal records in the 10,000 Meters.
Hurdles
Shelby Walker earned second place in the Women's 100 Hurdles with a time of 18.89 and set a school record and personal record in the 400 Hurdles.
Jumps
Hailee Hardman won the Women's High Jump, clearing 1.40m, achieving a season best, while Adair took first in the Women's Triple Jump with a mark of 10.70m, setting a personal record.
Madison Smith also achieved a personal record in the High Jump, and Hardman had a season best.
Throws
Abbey Cox took first in the Women's Discus with a throw of 38.54m, setting a school record and personal record, and also won the Women's Hammer with 42.92m.
Rachel Dunbar won the Women's Shot Put with a mark of 10.98m, achieving a season best, while Charla Young set a personal record in the same event.
Maddy McClellan achieved season bests in both the Shot Put and Discus, and she, along with Dunbar and Young, set personal records in the Hammer.
