MARYVILLE, Tenn. - The Maryville College Wall of Fame Class of 2026 has been revealed by the department. This year, the class consists of six all-star Scots who played in years ranging from 2000 to as recently as 2016 – one of the youngest Wall of Fame classes ever.
This year's inductees are (in chronological order):
Brain Gossett, Football '00
Peter Rosenblad, Men's Soccer '02
Bobby Golden, Men's Basketball '08
Ashley Howarth, Women's Soccer '14
Nick Dean, Baseball '14
Mackenzie Puckett Taylor, Women's Basketball '16
"As is the case with every Wall of Fame class, this year's inductees represent some of the very best of Maryville College athletics," Director of Athletics
Andrew Wu noted. "This is a notably young class, yet one that is incredibly deserving, with many of these individuals having been on the Committee's radar for years.
This class, while one of the youngest on record, is full of elite performers, including All-Americans, Conference and Regional Players of the Year, an MLB Draftee, and two USA South Hall-Of-Famers, just to name a few of their many achievements.
Wu continued,
"I'm grateful to the members of the Wall of Fame Committee for their thoughtful work in selecting this outstanding group, and I look forward to celebrating their achievements during Homecoming weekend."
The Wall of Fame ceremony will kick off Homecoming weekend on Thursday, October 22, in the Clayton Center for the Arts.
