Before Maryville
Attended White Station high school in Memphis, Tennessee where he ran cross country for two years and varsity track for three years.

Stats: School record holder in the distance medley relay... 2x sectional qualifier for state in the 4x800 meter relay... Was MVP for scoring most points on his team in the 2024-25 season... 2x city champion in the 4x800 meter relay.
