Brienna Laskowski

Brienna Laskowski was promoted to interim head volleyball coach in August 2023. She previously was named a Scots assistant coach in August 2022.

Laskowski before her arrival was one year removed from completing a stellar career at William Peace in her home state of North Carolina. There, she was a four-year starter and three-year All-USA South First Team selection. During Laskowski’s four seasons, the Pacers twice won the USA South’s East Division crown, and twice she was named William Peace Female Athlete of the Year.

During her four years at William Peace, Laskowski helped the Pacers post an 81-33 overall record and 47-8 mark in conference play. She wrapped up her playing career with 944 kills, 940 digs, and 128 service aces.

Laskowski then began her coaching career as graduate assistant coach for the 2021 season at Wisconsin Lutheran in Milwaukee. She helped train and implement a high-speed offense, working primarily with setters and hitters. She also coordinated film study and assisted in scouting, while managing the team’s social media accounts.

Laskowski’s brings to Maryville the desire to develop student-athletes into mature young adults and help prepare them to make a positive impact on the world. Her goal as a coach is to give her charges a one-of-a-kind student-athlete experience.

Laskowski has served as a head coach for both indoor and beach volleyball. She worked with the Milwaukee Sting indoor program and previously with I-3 in beach volleyball. In addition, Laskowski held assistant coaching stints for JoCo Volleyball Club, NC Elite Volleyball Club and Triangle Volleyball Club.

A native of Albemarle, North Carolina, Laskowski graduated from William Peace University in May 2021 with a degree in Business Administration. She is working toward a master’s degree in Leadership and Innovation, with a graduation target date of May 2023.
