Scots lose 3-0 to Eastern Mennonite

Box Score

The Royals of Eastern Mennonite proved to have the better of the scoring, defeating the Scots 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in Harrisonburg, VA.

"I was pleased with our effort today," said head coach Pepe Fernandez. "We controlled the ball in the mid field as well as we have all year and our forwards put a good many balls on frame. At the end of the day we couldn't find the back of the net and they did. We played a tough opponent yesterday and we just couldn't finish today. I was very pleased with how our midfielders and forwards played, especially our young guys."

the loss drops Maryville to 3-3-1 overall. The Scots will next be in action on Wednesday when they travel to Transylvania. Game time is set for 4:30 pm.
