Box Score The Maryville College volleyball team swept Emory & Henry College 3-0 by the scores of 25-21, 25-21, and 25-14 on Tuesday evening in MC's Boydson Baird Gymnasium.
Kelsey Handel and Julia Vineyard each produced a match-high eight kills. Kristen Sharp threw down seven kills while returning a game-high 14 digs. Mary Kate White added six kills while Jaclyn Marie Stephens contributed five kills and seven blocks to send the Scots to 19-15 on the season. Lauren Bonee had 14 assists while Kristen Bowlin and Mallory Bonee each added 10 digs on defense.
Emory & Henry falls to 14-11 overall behind a nine kill effort behind Hannah Stewart.
Maryville will host a trio of USA South foes on Saturday on Randy Lambert Court. Huntingdon, LaGrange, and Covenant will be playing throughout the afternoon. MC will play at 10:00 a.m. against Huntingdon and 4:00 p.m. against LaGrange The Scots will celebrate the careers of their three seniors at the beginning of the 4:00 match against LaGrange.
