Box Score Maryville picked up a key USA South victory on Saturday morning, as the Scots ran past the Bishops of N.C. Wesleyan College, 3-0.
Maryville moved to 10-2 in conference action by the scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-12.
Maryville saw Taylor Youell lead the way with her fifth career double-double, while the freshman posted a career high four service aces.
Youell tallied four of MC's seven against the Bishops, leading Maryville to a 3-0 victory.
Madison Coker tallied 11 kills behind a .474 kill percentage, as the senior had four blocks against the Bishops to lead Maryville.
Rachel Kozemko tallied eight kills, while adding 10 digs, as Sophia del Campo had seven kills and three digs. Mary Kate White had six kills.
Madison Smith matched Youell's 15 assist total, while sophomore Kaitlyn Flickinger led the Scots with 13 digs on the evening to go with six assists and a service ace.
For N.C. Wesleyan (9-15, 5-10 USAS), it was Samantha Morton who led the way with seven kills. Emily McLain added six.
Ayla Brewer had 19 of the 22 assists for the Bishops, as Kayla White tallied each of N.C. Wesleyan's four service aces.
Tori Stewart had 10 digs to lead the visitors.
Maryville moves to 14-8 on the season, while winning their 10th conference match. The Scots will host William Peace University at 4 p.m. today, as they will honor the careers of the squad's four captains: Stephanie Gleason, Madison Coker, Sophia del Campo and Mary Kate White.
