DECATUR, Ga. – Maryville split its CCS doubleheader against conference foe Agnes Scott on Saturday in Decatur, Georgia.

The Scots dominated Game 1 of the twin bill, taking home a 14-0 victory in the fifth inning. They were unable to carry their momentum into the nightcap though, falling to the Scotties 12-7.

Megan Ackerman was fantastic in Game 1. The junior pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just four baserunners, giving up one hit, one walk, and hitting two batters. She struck out three in the contest.
