MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Maryville College volleyball dropped its regular-season home finale Tuesday night, falling 3–0 to conference leader Asbury inside Cooper Athletic Center. The visiting Eagles claimed the match by set scores of 25–21, 25–19, and 25–17.
The Scots were paced by Cailin Mastropasqua with eight kills on a .300 attack percentage, while Kylie Wilhelmi also posted eight kills and 15 digs. Dakota Vaiese added nine assists and a pair of aces, and Megan Fairburn tallied 11 assists.
Maryville hit .046 as a team compared to Asbury's .161, as the Eagles' balanced attack was led by Isabelle VandeSchraaf with 12 kills.
With the result, Maryville moves to 20–7 overall and 11–3 in the CCS, while Asbury improves to 18–7 and 13–1, virtually locking up the regular-season title. The Scots now turn their attention to Piedmont and Belhaven to close out CCS regular season play before wrapping up the regular season against MUW on Nov. 8.
