ATLANTA, Ga. (February 23, 2026) – After last season's championship was decided in the final seconds, the stage is set for another unforgettable postseason run. The 2025–26 CCS Men's Basketball Championship Tournament tips off Tuesday, February 24, as six teams begin the pursuit of a conference title and a place in CCS history.
Opening-round action features two pivotal matchups on Tuesday, February 24:
- No. 3 Belhaven (13-12, 7-5) will defend its home court against No. 6 seed Covenant (8-17, 3-9*) as both teams look to extend their seasons.
- *Covenant secures the sixth seed due to a 1-1 record against Huntingdon.
- No. 4 seed LaGrange (14-11, 5-7) welcomes No. 5 seed Asbury (6-19, 4-8) where everything is on the line in the second match of the day.
The top two seeds receive a first-round bye and will open play in the semifinal round on Friday, February 27:
- No. 1 seed Maryville (21-4, 12-0 CCS) will face the winner of the LaGrange-Asbury matchup.
- No. 2 seed Huntingdon (15-10, 8-4 CCS) will take on the winner of the Covenant-Belhaven contest.
The winners of each semifinal will advance to the championship match on Saturday, February 28, where the 2025-26 CCS Men's Basketball Champion will be crowned.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
