MARYVILLE, Tenn. – A historic run through the CCS has now turned into postseason recognition. With multiple All-Conference selections announced, Maryville's regular season dominance translated into individual honors that reflect the program's continued rise in the league.
Chase Morgan – Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference
Chase Morgan has been a dominant force this season, starting all 25 regular-season games while averaging 29.3 minutes per contest (6
th in CCS). The offensive powerhouse leads the CCS with 21.6 points per game and adds 7.5 rebounds (4th), and 2.6 assists (9
th). Morgan is shooting 55.9 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from three, and 78.6 percent from the free-throw line. His standout season has earned him CCS Player of the Week, D3hoops Forward of the Week, and TSWA Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors. He also became the first player in Maryville history to record 1,500+ career points, 500+ rebounds, and 100+ blocks.
Jackson Garner – First Team All-Conference
Jackson Garner has been an integral piece for the Scots, appearing in 25 games and leading the CCS with 32.9 (1
st in CCS) minutes per game. He is averaging 14.6 points (7th) and 2.7 assists (8th), while shooting 41.4 percent from the field. Garner ranks second in the conference in both three-point percentage (38.6) and free-throw percentage (88.9). For a stretch this season, he led the NCAA in total three-pointers made, highlighting his elite perimeter shooting ability.
Matt Schneider – First Team All-Conference
Matt Schneider has played a key role in pacing the Scots, appearing in all 25 games and averaging 28.8 minutes per night (8th in CCS). He is contributing 14.0 points (10th in CCS) and 6.9 rebounds per game (6th), while shooting 48.2 percent from the field (5th), 31.5 percent from beyond the arc, and 64.1 percent from the line. Schneider's steady production on both sides has been vital to Maryville's success.
Jamal Ware – Second Team All-Conference
Jamal Ware has been a valuable piece of the starting lineup, appearing in 18 games and helping guide the Scots to a perfect 12-0 conference record. He averages 27.2 minutes, 9.3 points, and 4.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 41.8 percent from the field, 38.8 percent from three, and 67.3 percent from the line. Ware has held his defensive matchup below their season average in points in 11 out of 12 games in conference play. Ware also adds 1.7 steals per game (7th in CCS), providing energy and defensive presence.
Jaylon Green – Sportsmanship All-Conference
Jaylon Green embodies true sportsmanship in the way he competes, leads, and carries himself each day.
