DALTON, Ga. - The Scots closed out an exciting season in style, competing at the CCS Conference Championship and turning in a strong collective performance to cap the year.
Leading the charge for the Scots was Jack Porter, who finished in 8th place overall with rounds of 72, 75, and 77 for a three-round total of 224 — the best finish on the team and a performance that showcased his consistency throughout the tournament. Right behind him, Justin Sweeney posted a T14 finish with a 232 total (79-76-77).
Will Beyer carded a 78 in the final round on his way to a 22nd place finish with a 240 total. Jack Jacobsen was close behind in 26th, finishing at 243 after a steady 80 in the final round. Maciver Davis rounded out the Scots' lineup, completing all three rounds and finishing 30th with a total of 251.
As the final tournament of the year comes to a close, the program looks back on a season filled with growth, competition, and camaraderie. With several players gaining valuable championship experience, the Scots return with momentum and are prepared to compete for a top finish at the conference level next season.
