Gass and Meyer lead Maryville Women at Phoenix Invitational

Grace Gass and Alexis Meyuer led the maryville College women's golf team in the first round of the Cumberland Univsrsity Phoenix Invitational.  Both players posted matching 85's at Windtree Country Club in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Senior Sarah Grace Holland shot 94 and Elaina Davis 102 to make up the Scots first round team score of 366.

The host team Cumberland Univsersity after a 309 round holds a one stroke lead over Trevecca in the team competition going into tomorrow's final round which will be the final round of the season for Maryville.
