SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Scots women's golf team placed second at the Pioneers Fall Invitational on Tuesday, marking the team's highest finish this season.
Charlsie McElhaney placed fourth overall for the Scots, securing All-Tournament Team honors and leading the Scots to their runner-up position.
"Anytime you place at a tournament, it is a good week," Coach Jesse Lawley said. "There is always room for improvement, however, you always celebrate the little wins in between, and this was one this week. Proud of all of the girls, shout ot to Charlsie for her top five finish. Looking forward to building on this as we conclude the fall season in Rome, Ga. in two weeks. As always, Go Scots!"
