MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Scots traveled to Huntingdon College to compete in the Montgomery Women's Intercollegiate Tournament last weekend, September 21st and 22nd, placing ninth in competition.
Across two rounds, freshman Charlsie McElhaney placed the highest for the Scots with a combined +18 score, four birdies, and one eagle, resulting in a 23rd place finish.
Mallory Higgins shot +27 across the tournament and landed at 42nd in the standings, and Emma Clonan and Lillie Peterson came away with scores of +36 and +38, placing them in 51st and 52nd place, respectively. McKenna Cawley rounded out the Scots' roster, placing 54th with a final score of +86.
The team score a combined +71 in the first round, +48 in the second round, and ended the tournament with a +119 total.
The Scots look to regain momentum at the Pioneers Fall Invitational on October 13th and 14th, hosted by the Spartanburg Methodist Pioneers.
