Box Score Maryville Takes Down Agnes Scott 10-0
MARYVILLE – Sierra Lee scored two goals and assisted on another, and Bailey Sipos added a pair of goals to spark a 10-0 defeat of Agnes Scott on Saturday.
The Scots spread the wealth among seven goal-scorers. Seven also was the magic number for the first half as Maryville led 7-0 at the end of 45 minutes.
"It was exciting to see such a successful scoring run versus Agnes Scott," Maryville head coach Pepe Fernandez said. "We hope to continue that into the game on Sunday against Huntingdon."
Macy Lindsey and Kelsey Green opened the scoring with goals 36 seconds apart for a 2-0 Maryville lead in the ninth minute. Sydney O'Hara scored in the 19th minute before Lee tallied her first in the 30th minute to double the margin to 4-0.
Katie O'Brien found the netting in the 36th minute and then Lee scored again three minutes later. An Agnes Scott own goal in the 41st minute capped the first half at 7-0.
Sipos scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the second half before Ellie Filimonczuk scored her third of the season to conclude the flurry.

Sipos leads the team with six goals, followed by O'Brien with five and Green with four. O'Hara contributed one assist Saturday, her fourth of the season. She leads the team by one over Green and Lindsay with three apiece.
Maryville improved to 5-5-2 overall and 2-1-0 in the USA South, while Agnes Scott dropped to 0-8-1 and 0-2-0. The Scots turn right around and host Huntingdon on Sunday at 2 p.m.
