Box Score The Maryville College baseball program fell to 2-7 on the season after dropping a three-game non-conference series at LaGrange College on Sunday. The Panthers took the series finale 13-0 to move to 3-1 on the season.
Five Maryville pitchers gave up 14 hits over eight innings including four doubles and a homerun.
MC's offense tallied only five hits off LaGrange hurlers. Secondbaseman Jimmy Meredith finished 2-of-4 with a walk to pace the Scots' offense. Designated hitter Peyton Milam added a pair of hits while shortstop Gabe Lopez added a single.
Maryville will look to snap a four-game skid when they travel to Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama to challenge Edgewood and Huntingdon in a road doubleheader on Saturday, March 6th.
