CLARKESVILLE, Ga. – Isabelle Juda raced to a 12th-place finish to earn All-CCS Second Team honors Saturday at the Second Annual Collegiate Conference of the South Cross Country Championships.

Juda crossed the line in 27 minutes and 16.90 seconds over the challenging 6K course at Tallulah Falls State Park in the north Georgia mountains. This was her second All-CCS Second Team placement in as many years.

Kristina Buckley was next for the Scots, earning 25 points with a personal-best time of 30:42.70. She was followed by
Anastasia Lamar with 28 points on the strength of her 32:22.40 clocking. Lamar was named to the CCS All-Sportsmanship Team, as selected by the league coaches.

Danna Vasquez-Barrera scored 30 points for Maryville with a personal-best time of 33:08.40, and
Shelby Baldwin added 31 points after crossing in 33:29.80.

"I couldn't be prouder of how far this team has come this season," first-year head coach Kaitlyn Carringer-Adams said. "They ended their season with the toughest course yet but still managed to break two personal records (Buckley and Vazquez-Barrera), and every runner beat their placement goals based off rankings.

"Isabelle stayed tough and worked hard to earn All-Conference Second Team, and I am very proud of how she ran today.
Anastasia Lamar earned recognition for the All-Sportsmanship Team, which is very well deserved as she is our No. 1 supporter for everyone on the team and for other teams' runners.

"This group improved so much this season and should be proud of all their hard work."

Next up are the NCAA South Region Championships, set for Nov. 11 in Rome, Georgia.
