MARYVILLE – Changes continue as Maryville College athletics and our partners in the Collegiate Conference of the South and USA South Athletic Conference deal with the effects of Hurricane Helene.
Treacherous travel in the North Carolina mountains has forced the delay until Sunday for the USA South football matchup between Maryville and Brevard. That kickoff is now set for Sunday at 2 p.m. on Honaker Field inside Lloyd L. Thornton Stadium.
Changes made as of Friday at 3:15 p.m. are the following:
- -- Men's and Women's Soccer is hosting Belhaven on Sunday. The women's match kicks off at noon and the men's play at 2:15 p.m.
- -- Volleyball's tri-match in Jackson, Mississippi, against Belhaven and Piedmont is Sunday. Start times for the Scots are noon and 2 p.m. Central.
- -- Maryville is hosting Brevard in football Sunday at 2 p.m.
- -- The Maryville College Cross Country Invitational is set for Monday afternoon. The women's race begins at 4:30 p.m. and the men's at 5:30 p.m.
- -- Women's Soccer is hosting Covenant on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
